Guten Tag! I am planning a trip to Munich in July 09. I am very interested in visiting Gergweis, as Ellis Island immigration records show that my great grandfather lived there around 1913. I was hoping that you may be able to give me information or direction on how to find more information about this man. For example, are there public records in the town hall that may help?
